TOEIC®

ñIn France, some airlines require a TOEIC® score of at least 650 points.

 

TOEIC stands for: Test of English for International Communication.

 

Elaborated by the American Educational Testing Service (ETS), it

assess the ability of non-native English-speaking examination candidates to use English in everyday workplace activities.

 

The test consists of 200 questions divided into 100 questions each in listening comprehension and reading comprehension. The multiple-choice test has to be performed within 2 hours and the achieved results are acknowledged in points on a scale from 10 to 990.

The final results correspond to five colours:

 

        orange (10-215)

        • brown (220-465)

        • green (470-725)

        • blue (730-855)

        • gold (860-990)
